An open-pollinated, early-flowering type displaying single blooms on compact, 3 to 6-in. (7 to 15-cm) plants.
Named for their lacy, serrated petals, these wonderful dianthus combine the bloom size and earliness of the 'Ideals'with the habit of the 'Telstars.' The flowers reach up to 1 1/2-in. (4-cm) across, the largest of any D. hybrida series. Outstanding heat tolerance makes this 8 to 10-in. (20 to 25-cm) dianthus especially suited to Spring production in the North and for Fall production in the South. Look at a Floral Lace Dianthus snapshot. Cherry Performs well in pack and garden in both Spring and Fall. Blush Pink. Matures from white to pastel pink. Replaces 'Color Magician.' Compact and basal-branching, with 1 1/4-in. (3-cm) blooms. Crimson Solid performer offering an abundance of 1 1/3-in. (3.3-cm) flowers and good heat tolerance. Crimson Carmine Rose Exceptional addition to both bedding and commercial cutflower programs is highlighted by lightly scented, lavender blooms on well-branched plants with strong, straight stems. Outdoors, vigorous, 18 to 24-in. (46 to 61-cm) 'Bouquet Purple' has good heat tolerance. Well-suited to 4-in.
