Single-Flowered Phlox

Beauty Mix

17,000 s./oz. (600 s./g) Blend of clear, mostly pastel colors on 12-in. (30-cm) plants.

21st Century Series F
1

Performs like a hybrid at every turn: germination, vigor, earliness and weather tolerance are all excellent. Vigorous lateral branching makes fuller plants with superior "flower power," both in the pack and outdoors in landscapes or containers. Masses of blooms appear continuously through the season. An excellent choice for Spring sales; good in Fall programs in the South. Sold by seed counts.

Crop Time: 4-in. (10-cm) pots, 10 to 14 weeks

Escapade Series F
1

Seed-propagated hybrid has improved germination compared to other plumbagos and is easier to grow than vegetative varieties. Compact, bushy shrub has a slightly arching habit -- the branches grow up and then out. Thrives in high heat and both high and low moisture. In Zones 9 to 11, 'Escapade' works well in mixed containers and also as an informal hedge 4 to 6 ft. (1.2 to 1.8 m) tall. In cooler climates, use as a patio plant set out in late Spring.
